Whether visiting boutiques, shopping malls, vintage or second-hand shops, you pay attention to type of material the item is made of? It is said that you will know the quality through touch! Explore the types of materials in the fashion world!
Today I will tell you which materials are available on the market, which are worth paying attention to and which ones are better To avoid . Every day we take care of good body hydration, we try to nourish and do sports to keep our body healthy. However, we often forget what we wear, it also has a big influence on us. So let’s think about not choking the body underneath artificial coatings and let it breathe.
At the outset, it is worth mentioning that the clothes in our wardrobes are divided into:
Fabrics – materials that are difficult to stretch, make it possible to create clothes without distortions. These are materials from which trousers and shirts are most often made. It can be said that the fabrics are more “stiff”, they provide less comfort of movement.
Knitted fabrics – this type of fabric stretches easily so it will adapt to any type of fabric silhouettes. Knitted fabrics provide great comfort of wearing clothes, they are more comfortable. Of course, e.g. sweaters are knitted.
Types of materials!
There are three basic types of materials:
Natural materials – I must admit that this is my favorite group of materials. They consist of cotton, wool, silk, linen or angora – everything that breathes and gives our body comfort. Of course, these materials have different origins, so if you prefer to avoid contact with these of animal origin, you can choose vegetable versions (cotton, linen …). There is no doubt, that the quality of natural material will be better for our body than synthetic material. And it is so very easy to prove. On a hot day, go for an hour-long walk in cotton Top, and the second time in the one made of synthetic material. You will surely see the difference.
Artificial materials – these are fibers made of cellulose or bamboo, and the most common is viscose. Despite being discouraging the names, as you can see, the materials are made of natural raw materials. Artificial materials they are breathable and do not cause a threat to our skin. Additionally, they make no creases.
Synthetic materials – these are fibers produced by chemical means. The most common Is polyester and elastane (spandex). Synthetic materials they work best in sports clothes. They are characterized by durability and resistance on water absorption. Often, however, polyester is used in the production of the so-called fast clothes in chain stores. However, I do not recommend this type of shopping. Fast fashion clothes lose their shape very quickly. They quickly puncture and look unsightly. It is also worth mentioning that very often pants (including jeans) have admixtures of elastane, which makes it fit so well. Also, work clothes are made of synthetic materials to keep employees safe!
These are just the basics, and I could talk and talk about the materials. Here, however, I created just the basic one for you To help you once shopping to take fully informed purchasing decisions 😊.
